Quote of the Day 3/37/14

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

-Kahlil Gibran

Doesn’t that just remind you of spring?

Can’t you almost feel the sun on your back and the grass under the soles of your feet?

As this winter drags on and on, I thought this quote to be appropriate. Not only that, but for me, it works on two levels. One is the obvious “where’s my spring?” sense, and the other is based on our dependence on electronic devices: cell phones, satellite TVs, WiFi and uber-connectivity.

Don’t forget to look up from your screens once in a while, ladies and gentlemen, and remember the whole wide world is out there, waiting to play.
